About Our New Home

​

Our new home will be a haven for developing happiness and health in both mind and body. Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Park Slope, Brooklyn at 432 6th Avenue, it will provide ideal conditions for Dharma teachings and practices, yoga, and other innovative programming. We have been truly fortunate to find a patron who has not only committed to renovating the space, but also has a deep sincerity in his heart to benefit others.

We plan to move in at the end of 2017 and begin offering programs there in early 2018. Shantideva Meditation Center will hold a 7-year lease to begin. Our rental obligations will be lower than market rate, yet will be substantially higher than what we are currently managing. We are currently working on plans on how to meet this increased obligation. Please contact us if you may wish to join our efforts.

Our new space will have handicap accessibility, a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, a beautiful little garden, changing rooms for yoga, a teacher's room for meetings, ample storage space and cubbies, beautiful wooden flooring, a reception area, a kitchenette, and other amenities to make our teachers, students, guests and volunteers feel completely welcome.
