A beautiful, two-tiered altar table custom-designed for our space and pujas will be built by artisanal woodworker, John Harrison.
​
The altar will syncretize elements of traditional Tibetan and contemporary Western design, to reflect the traditional Tibetan Buddhist teachings made relevant to the modern Western world.
​
John has studied Tibetan Buddhism and also teaches woodworking at Inwood Academy for Leadership, which empowers students to become positive agents for change.
