Antique Wooden and Agate 108-Bead Mala on Blue Cord from Eastern Tibet

This beautiful wooden mala is very old and is of the style used in Eastern Tibet. The length measures approximately 21 inches. The flat, spherical beads are made of dark wood, interspersed with large agate globe markers, brass counters on genuine yak leather cords, and finished with an ivory guru bead.

Agates are known as a stone of protection, and are said to foster love, balance, and groundedness. This stone is said to dissolve internal tension, facilitate self-acceptance, and harmonize yin and yang.
